Rachel has been with Gallatin Veterinary Hospital since the end of 2022, accepting a position as the Assistant Hospital Administrator! Rachel started her career in 2009 at a small mixed animal practice in North Dakota. She is passionate about the Human-Animal Bond, supporting shelters and rescue groups, and high standards of care in veterinary medicine. Growing up in a military family, it's difficult to name a proper hometown, so she has several! Rachel has lived in the valley for about 7 years with her chaotic and loveable family: 2 sons Bridger & jackson, 2 pups Dundee Scott (a short and long super mutt) & Princess Peach (Black Mouth Cur), kitty cat Michael Gary Scott (who is basically a dog), and loving partner Chris. In her spare time, you can find her shuttling her little ones between gymnastics, t-ball, soccer, and the climbing gym. As a family, they love to camp as often as they can, hike, and kayak. Rachel has many creative hobbies. You can find her drawing on her iPad, painting weird mixed media abstract art, playing the ukulele, crocheting, sewing, or painting another mural in her house. Ask her about landscaping and she will talk your ear off. A self-proclaimed Breed Nerd, she can't promise to shut up about breed standards, and treats the National Dog Shows as her Superbowl. But somehow, the mutt is her favorite breed by far.
