We are not entirely sure what happened to Finnegan but whatever it was, it wasn’t good. He was taken to the Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter with bumps, bruises, missing hair and just not wanting to move. Radiographs showed that Finnegan was suffering from a fracture of the left femur. The staff of Gallatin Veterinary Hospital felt that Finnegan was a life worth saving and decided to use your donations into the Veterinary Care Foundation to heal this sweet boy.

The surgery went very well and pins were used to hold the fractured bones in alignment. The day after the surgery sweet Finnegan was returned to Heart of the Valley to rest and heal. Today the incision is barely visible, his hair is growing back and Finnegan is looking forward to finding a forever home. Finnegan is now healed enough to be adopted, so go visit him and take him home with you!
