Red also came for weekly rehab sessions with Kali (who is certified in Canine Rehabilitation) for the 8 weeks following his surgery. His visits to GVH became a highlight of his week. Together Kali and Red worked on increasing range of motion, general use, and mobility on his surgical leg through multiple exercises.  They could often be seen completing ‘obstacle courses’ in the front yard. Their teamwork and weekly efforts showed quick and vast improvements in Red’s recovery.

Red has since returned to the East coast and after an okay from the doctor has returned to normal activity.  Renee reports he is doing great at home and is enjoying play time with his new sister!

I just wanted to say thank you to Dr. Albrecht and his staff for the amazing care they provided to my Mom's shih-tzu, Ebby!. You've given her a second chance at life!
